The story behind The Memory Mailbox began with my mother, Linda, and the handwritten cards she left for the people she loved. Seeing firsthand how meaningful those messages could become gave me a purpose: to make that same opportunity available to other families facing terminal illness.
I founded The Memory Mailbox to help remove one small burden during an incredibly difficult time. By providing greeting cards at no cost, my hope is to give individuals the space and opportunity to focus on what truly matters—the words, memories, encouragement, and love they want their families to carry with them.
I want every family we serve to know that even when time is limited, love can continue to be felt for years to come.

The Heart Behind The Memory Mailbox
When we knew our time with my mom, Linda, was coming to an end, my husband and I spent several days driving from store to store, gathering greeting cards for the moments we knew she might not be here to see.
We chose cards for birthdays, holidays, graduations, and other milestones, then brought them to Mom so she could sign them whenever she had the strength. Some days, it took her an entire day just to sign three cards. But every card she was able to complete became something incredibly precious.
Since her passing, those cards have been an incredible blessing to our family. Each time one is opened, we get to see her handwriting again, read her words, and feel a little piece of her love still with us.
Those cards will forever bring smiles to our faces and remind us that we were—and always will be—loved unconditionally.
That experience became the heart of The Memory Mailbox. We want other individuals and families facing terminal illness to have the same opportunity to preserve their words, their love, and a piece of themselves for the people they love most.
